Powder coated steel and a diameter of 125 centimetres means that the outdoor grill Hilde offers something entirely new in the outdoor grill segment. Hilde is introduced by Lappset, a leading producer of products for the urban outdoor space. The idea is to make it more fun to come together for a barbecue.

It doesn’t matter if it is a large block party or a larger private barbecue. Hilde is supposed to create inspiration and community with its creative and inviting design. The extensive diameter makes it possible for a large number of people to use it simultaneously and the heat resistant powder coated steel will stand up to the elements for a long time.

– Before Hilde customers were forced to choose between small designer grills and large and ugly but functional grills, says CEO Sören Silén of Lappset.

– This is the first time anyone offers a large grill that is both functional and has a beautiful design.

Focus on humanity

Hilde was designed for Lappset by the Swedish designer Arne Nilsson. The goal was to create a grill that blends in to the urban environment while still having an attitude. Hilde is supposed to promote a moment of community regardless of season.

–I want it to be an expression in time that focus on humanity, says Arne Nilsson.

–”The place” was my most important source of inspiration when I designed Hilde.
